He has dedicated his life to the ministry. Elder Smith grew up in Indianola, MS with 5 siblings. He began in ministry in a homeless soup kitchen, where he would minister to the men and women. Elder Smith began a street ministry and would preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Elder Smith worked for a non-profit organization and one day the women in the community encouraged Elder Frederick Smith to start having services in the Robinhood Apartment Complex were he worked. During that time, the women encouraged him to give the church a name and they agreed upon New Life Church. Over the years the church has grown, we are currently in our fourth location and over 350 members. Elder Smith believes in the power of Prayer and Fasting.
